Joy on JOY.

Joy on JOY.

That's one of those new lacy brown and red bras we have at the shop under that white shirt. Wearing my JOY from the inside out.

I’m writing this at 8:06 PM the night before my first day off from the shop.  I need it…I’m tired, my brain is fried, and my house is a total mess.  I’m not kidding.  I just remembered someplace that I was supposed to be at 5, I entirely forgot a conversation that I had with a woman who used to own a lingerie store  (whose number was given to me by a customer who kindly thought it would be wonderful to have such a resource to talk to), and I’ve officially run out of clothes to wear because I haven’t had time to do laundry.  After six and a half weeks of JOY, I’m not going to work tomorrow.

The shop will be open thanks to Connie and Nance who are rock stars when it comes to working in the shop.  They will be there from 11-5 to take care of anything you need.  Connie is very good at bra fitting and I have no doubt that the two of them will not only take care of you, but also take care of me.  You’ll find exceptional attention to detail and customer service, and I’ll come back to a more organized and neater store.  In my world of being grateful for so so so many things, having an amazing staff of four incredible women seriously chokes me up.

Like the day I signed the lease and the night before we opened, this night before I take a day off just feels like a big step in the evolution of JOY.  So much to share soon enough, but I’m off to enjoy my fire and ravioli tonight, and my golf and laundry tomorrow.  May your nights before your days off feel as special as this one does to me.  Cheers and thank you.
