Our inventory of bras, lingerie, shape wear, sleepwear, etc etc makes a lot of people happy, but there’s been one category that has been 
lacking – hell, not even just lacking, but totally missing…and that is HOSIERY. I mean if we are going to be an “underthings” store, we gotta have some hose, right? Much of the delay has been due to the difficulty to find good quality at a decent price…something that is better than the egg, but not crazy expensive. A good mix of “nice” nylons, comfortable and fun tights, and so
me sassy hose for those times when you are just feel in’ it. We think we found it in the brands Pretty Polly and House of Holland and we’re happy to report that we have a really great selection in the shop now!
We were a little dismayed that the product shipped from England, but it finally arrived yesterday and we were psyched. Since day one, we’ve looooved opening boxes around here.
Courtney and I decided to treat ourselves to a pair each this morning and as promised, here’s our reviews:
Courtney: “I test drove the new angora tights today. They were warm and cozy, yet had enough elasticity to not bag out by the end of the day. No bagging at the knees, no hanging crotch. I love these tights and as someone who wears a dress or skirt pretty much every day, I have a new go-to for winter.”
Joy: “I arrived at the shop late today with bare legs and just some shape wear on under my dress. Being both rushed to take care of something and a little bit lazy, I decided to try the tights OVER my shape wear. Not ideal and not what I would recommend, BUT I have to say the tights held up really well in a very tough situation for several hours. Around 4pm, I said enough with this shape wear UNDER the tights and used one of the dressing rooms to take the shape wear off and put the tights back on. They went easily back on despite my rushing. I didn’t have to “jump” into them and pull and tug until I feel like they are going to rip like I do some of my other tights. Loving the color (juniper green) and loving the way they hold their shape. It’s 5:54 now and still feeling high up on the waist and ready to go our and meet a friend for a burger!”
We have knee highs, nylons, tights, and some really cool hosiery (did you see the alphabetights?). We’ll keep posting pics and keep the orders rolling in. Come on by the shop and check them out!
